On A Stick: House Sparrow

Believe it or not, it's been difficult catching a male House Sparrow on my dead branch. They seem to be a bit more wary than the females. I've already featured a female for my project so this completes the pair.

Growing up, we had an Audubon book of bird illustrations. Although this is a photo, it's reminiscent of what I would've seen in that book. Beautiful detail -- great work!
