Dried Dinner

July 26, 2014  •  20 Comments

In addition to the safflower I've been putting out for the seed eaters, I also put out dried meal worms. The robins and starlings, in particular, love them. This youngster shows up regularly and snags as many worms as he can fit in his beak.

He's so beautiful! I'd love to have birds in our garden like this.

What a great idea. I will have to remember to do that next spring. That Robin does look pretty happy with his meal.
