Barn Buddies

February 09, 2015  •  17 Comments

I have recently shown you these barns separately (Plain Jane and Rusty Tin Hat) and now here they are together. Based on a few comments, some people thought they were abandoned, but both barns are still very much in use. This is the second time I've shown these barns, too. The first time was a couple of years ago and those posts are on my previous Blogger blog. I visited the barns again and took new photos.

Love the progression of photos. Gorgeous barns!

Terrific photos of these old barns! Seems to me that there are lots of barns sitting around that look abandoned but are in full use. I love them!

They look great side-by-side like that. I rather like the rusty roofs and weathered wood.

They make a great pair. The sky is very striking with the wispy crossing trails. Thanks for linking this week!

I really like that top shot with the lines of the equipment between them. By the length of the pasture grass you can tell they still use them and truly - that makes me so very happy. Too many old barns that are not being used or kept in any repair anymore.
