They Call Me Bob

We've seen nearly 60 species of birds on our property in less than a year. Fortunately for us, Bobwhite Quail are among them. This one made a rare appearance near the back porch one day.

Awesome, Brian! I'm so jealous! I'd love the chance to photograph bobwhites. I occasionally check eBird for them, but I haven't found a consistent spot in MA to try to find one.

Beautiful photos!
I know they are here in Mississippi, but I rarely see them.

Beautiful pic of the quail. My husband and Dad were quail hunters but now the quail are not so abundant. We did hear one near the back of our property a few days ago. I tried to whistle back to him but my whistle wasn't too impressive.

What a beautiful bird and great photos. I've been hearing a Bob white call when I hike. I would be thrilled to see one here! I'll keep looking!
