Fence Jumper

August 01, 2019  •  4 Comments

One recent evening there was a young 6-point buck standing in our front yard. In the short time it took me to get my camera, the deer had jumped the fence into the pasture next door, ran across and jumped the next fence and crossed that field. I had to divert from the front yard to the back yard to get photos. By that time, the buck was a good distance away. He followed the third fence line for a bit and then jumped that one into a meadow.
