Git Along Little Doggy

One recent morning about 11:00 a lone coyote visited the cow herd next door. Most of them were laying down taking in the sun. They were apparently not too impressed with the furry brown creature because he eventually trotted off across the field without rousting the herd. Only a curious young cow followed. This was the second time we've had a coyote near the house during the day. The first encounter was a coyote in our yard about 4:00 in the afternoon. We think it was possibly stalking our dog that was laying in the backyard at the time.

Scary to have them so close to your house.

Interesting pictures - would he (?) have taken your dog if it had had the chance?
