Foxxy II

There's an area on the property we refer to as the grove. It's a large bowl-shaped feature with lots of big rocks and several large trees. It's been known to have snakes, chipmunks, field mice, and occasionally rabbits and squirrels in it. Late one afternoon this red fox ran out of the woods, across the yard, and into the grove. It spent several minutes looking under various rocks probably hoping to find dinner.

this is a pretty, "natural" part of your property, it probably attracts the fox to this area, it would feel safe and perhaps get a bounty of food. beautiful images, the fox has great coloring...the first picture reminded me of lion king!! hehehe

Hello Brian,

Your fox images are beautiful. It would be neat to have a wildlife cam set up near these rocks, capturing all the critters. I always enjoy your photos. Great critter post.
