House Hunting

April 18, 2021  •  11 Comments

Tree Swallows have been heavily investigating the three bluebird houses along the fence line. They seem to favor the blue one, but have yet to go all the way inside, much less begin building a nest. So far they have only stuck the front half of their bodies inside before backing out. Bluebirds were very interested in the houses back in late autumn, but have not been around yet this spring.

They are such interesting birds and lovely to photograph. Maybe they are waiting for the real estate agent to give them the keys!

Your link at 'My Corner of the World' this week is a wonderful addition!
